About our classes and events
Classes
Mending Souls Charity Factory and Free Academy is free school where students (youngest age 11 and ‘wisest’ is 94!) come together to learn how to make over 50 Items in the 30 categories that are needed in our communities. Professors are Team Captains who also teach and lead their teams in the production and donation of over 30,000 items per year. Instructors assist them with large classes, and several are also on standby for remote teaching and mentoring.

Community Outreach
Through partnering our with other local Non-Profits, we have greater impact to serve over 130 agencies in need. To support operations we have fundraising events: sidewalk garage sales; to raising thrift store donations at Wings For Women, Rotary International, and “Bringing Out The Best” to benefit multiple non-profits; silent auctions; Jim Click annual Raffle for Millions, Tucson Mall holiday gift wrapping, Mall Exhibition where we demonstrated the handmade items being created by twenty instructors and students, as well as fundraising through students’ art sales. We offer Sponsors to join in the fulfillment of Wish List Order Forms by those in need.
